Salon Policies

Whilst we understand that life can be hectic and you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment we kindly ask that you provide us at least 48 hours notice for all bookings, cancellations or rescheduling of appointments.

All clients please be aware you will be requested to pay a non-refundable booking fee to secure your appointment, this will be deducted from your final bill.

If you arrive for your scheduled appointment more than 15 minutes late we reserve the right to cut short or possibly cancel your appointment entirely.

If you DO NOT inform us 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment or fail to arrive for your appointment you risk being charged up to 100% of the total bill. 

Any previous no shows or none payments will result in you being removed from our booking system.

All clients are required to take a skin test 48 hours prior to their colour treatment and then at least every six months to ensure our client's safety.  Please inform us of any medication changes or other treatments that you may have had in between appointments with us as this can have an adverse affect on your colour treatment.

For the best colour results please arrive with freshly washed dry hair. Many clients are using root sprays, dry shampoo and other hair products.  All these act as a barrier on the hair and can cause a chemical reaction. Due to this we can not always achieve the desired results.

If you're not completely satisfied with your treatment please let us know before you leave the salon so we can make any adjustments. We understand that your hair treatment is a personal experience and you want to feel good when you leave, so it is important for us to ensure you are happy and content with not only your experience with Hair It Is, but with the way your hair looks!  Hair it is will not be held responsible or liable if you have sought advice after your  treatment from another salon, from another person outside Hair It Is or had a rectification and not informed us of the situation before you left our salon. All treatments are non-refundable!

 

Please allow sufficient time for the type of hair treatment you are booking - fabulous looking hair takes time!

Due to the amount of no shows and cancellations the above policies have had to be implemented to ensure the continued financial sustainability of the salon.
